"Vivienne Westwood is one of the worlds most original & innovative Designers. As the originator of punk, she expressed her controversial ideas on fashion through her famous shop in the King's roads, Chelsea. Variously Names Let it Rock; Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die; Sex; Seditionaries and World's End. In 1981 she showed her first collection 'Pirates', whose asymmetrical T-Shirts, pirate shirts & baggy flat-heeled boots had a huge influence on 1980s streetwear. It was the begging of a sequence of collections which have shown her to be an endlessly creative designer, drawing on inspiration from an electric range of sources. Her constantly developing ideas & philosophy will continue to change the face of fashion." - Grene Krell
