The Issey Miyake Autumn/Winter 2006-2007 collection by Naoki Takizawa was presented at paris fashion week. The runway was considered by many as reminiscent of Junya Watanabe. With the appearance of multiple traditional garments fitted into bondage like suits, such as : Skirts, Blazers, Blousons & even Boots. It was a very diverse collection, seeing models in striking patterned fabrics with long trench coat jackets, models were instructed to remove the jackets midway through the runway to show the dresses underneath, with matching interior patterns to the jackets which gave a striking look.
This blazer is intertwined with an array of bondage straps & hardware across the back & front. Pockets locked in from the bondage straps which can be undone to open up, they cover all the way to the tips of the sleeve in a beautiful array of patterns. The blazer doesn't stop there at stunning because its detailed to the finest precision, to the buttons on the blazer having beautiful patterns in which could be seen on various interiors of jackets & blousons throughout the collection.
